Banshee Update
This summer is a busy one for Banshee. We have a lot going on and it is going to lead up to a killer 2010.
Our fourth album is coming along well and Tommy will be laying down demo vocal tracks soon for several of the songs on 'Halls of Karma.' Watch for Tommy as he will be making a guest appearance and perform at Rocklahoma. He will be at the Garden of Evil site in the VIP area - late night. More details to follow.
Terry is finishing up the music for the album this summer and has about half the albums tracks demo-ed now. Watch for a few older demo's from the Terry Dunn Project of the mid-90s. We've uncovered a few tracks from storage. He also has some very exciting news which you'll find out about soon, just to keep you guessing...
Tommy will also be working this summer too - on The Tommy Flood Project. Hans Brauner (guitar), Greg Stegman (keyboards), Eric Spears (bass) and Erin Mumma (drums) will be working with him as they perform throught late summer and fall in the midwest. Booking dates are being confirmed now and we'll get those to you ASAP. (June 19th, 2009)

Halls of Karma Progresses
The next Banshee album, Halls of Karma, is progressing well in the studio. Terry has about half of the tracks done now. We just need to get vocal and drum tracks done next as soon as we can get everyone together in the studio at the same time.
This conceptual album is a revealing look at how you live your life and can be rewarded or set back based upon your own actions in life. Karma plays an important role in all of our lives and this album will be something that will connect with fans in a very heavy way. The music so far is some of Banshee's best work to date. Banshee is going to rock the world, once again!
We plan to release a few short demo clips through our newsletter this summer, so be sure to sign up for the fanclub! (May 14th, 2009)

Rocklahoma Wrap Up
Rocklahoma 2008 featured Banshee on Friday night at 8:30 pm. Banshee rocked the Tri-Label side stage on Friday night drawing an estimated 10,000 plus people over after Night Ranger wrapped up their set on the main stage. No other side stage band on either side drew the crowd or had the energy of Banshee.
Tommy Lee Flood's performance was first class. He engaged the crowd constantly throughout the band's set. His stage presence kept the fans in awe as he reminded the hardcore fans who is important. Flood stated, "We do this for the fans. Banshee's fans are the best fans in the world and we could not do this without them. I'm not singing for myself, but for every single person in that crowd. I can't thank them enough. They are the ones who humble me and make me feel this is all worth the hard work."
Terry Dunn stunned the crowd with his incredible guitar rifts. The heart and soul of Banshee's sound was showcased with his incredible guitar play. People were and still are talking about his talent and how great it was to see him on stage live again. Terry said, "It was incredible. I had such a great time on the stage. It was so cool to see the smiles, screams and roars as I looked out into the endless crowd. The feelings that I experienced as I'd wrap up a song and all I could hear was the roar of the crowd gave me chills. This was all worth it. I loved the response and I love our fans!"
Tyson Leslie fit the role of bass for Banshee perfectly. His stage presence and energy were incredible. He complements the other members of the band perfectly and we hope he will be with Banshee for the long haul. The band is lucky to have him involved. Tyson said, "I had a great time. I've always loved Banshee and it is such an honor to play with such an incredible group of guys."
Kent Burnham rocked the stage on drums. He attacked the drums with thunderous energy. The beat behind Banshee shined once again in Kent's play. It was great to have him playing with us again. Kent said, "I had a great time. We sounded tight and I'm so glad I was able to be here for the show."
Overall, this was one of Banshee's best shows and we can't wait to do this again next year. It was disappointing to see the side stages collapse on Saturday, but the show went on and the we all dealt with the mud. We lost a lot of our merchandise and two days of sales opportunity, because of the damage to the stages and merchandise tents which were also destroyed, but we hope to see the fans on BansheeRocks.com where they can still order CDs and Shirts from the show.
Banshee wants to thank all of our fans We do this for you and we owe it all to every one of you who have supported us over the years and now. Be sure to join the Banshee fanclub to keep up to date on the future appearances that we are finalizing now.
